Jacob Beck holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Sociology. In 2021 he graduated at University of Mannheim. During his studies he spent time abroad at UC Davis, USA and University of Seoul, South Korea. In his Master thesis he examined the tool “Google Trends” and its capabilities and limitations in the prediction of right-wing parties’ popularities.
After his graduation, he interned at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg and participated at the “Data Science for Social Good” fellowship.
