Short Description
Unai Fischer Abaigar studied Physics at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg focussing on dynamical systems, networks and statistical machine learning for time series. His Master’s thesis was concerned with developing a model to predict an individual’s emotional trajectories using time series data collected from their cell phone via questionnaires and sensory data to suggest personalized digital mental health interventions.
After his graduation, he spent some time working as a research associate at the Hertie School Data Science Lab in Berlin on exploring future avenues for applying machine learning methods to problems from public policy and governance.
